Roseville Secondary School
A project of Ikota Education Foundation
LUX, VERITAS, VIRTUS
Crest
The Roseville Crest is an important representation of the school's values. The image displays a shield with two fields fused together at the base and merging into one field at the top.
The top field has three shells sitting on a blue background, which symbolizes Ikota Educational Foundation (IEF); the organization that founded the school. The three shells at the top represent the three main school pillars: parents, teachers and students. The prestigious nature of their voyage is symbolized by the color blue.
The left field has the Sun, which symbolizes Charity and the virtues, set against a green background. It represents magnificence and illuminating others; and in addition to representing health and energy, the color can also represent balance, fertility, and rejuvenation.
Roseville is shown in the right field. The golden rose it holds symbolizes confidence and charm. In addition to the feminine connection to life, living brightly, and caring for others, the color red also represents the bravery to seek the truth.
